Japanese plastic film manufacturer, Gunze, has launched an eco-friendly shrink film for automatic sleeve applicators, GeoPlas HCX1.
Gunze says GeoPlas HCX1 is the “lightest shrink film for automatic sleeve applicators,” – it is a polystyrene/polyethylene terephthalate multi-layered product that uses 5% of chemical recycled raw materials with the ‘mass balance’ approach.
The new film can be incorporated globally as shrink labels for PET bottled beverages, foods, cosmetics, home and personal care products and other products.
The Tiny-B aluminium bottle is a versatile all-rounder. Thanks to its GL18 thread it can be combined with all kinds of closures and applicators and is suitable for a broad range of purposes. For a more climate friendly approach, the bottles can be produced from postconsumer recycled aluminum with a drastically lower carbon footprint. Shatterproof, lightweight, opaque and aroma proof the bottle optimally protects its filling. At the same time, our Tiny-B - just like our entire bottle series - catches the eye thanks to its unique aluminium look.
Technical data
The punnets can be manufactured with up to 100% recycled PET (rPET), and all are fully recyclable back into food-grade rPET.
Made with its MONOAIR cushion technology, the new 100% mono-material punnets are now available in large rectangular (WE80), square (WE62) and standard rectangular (WE37) versions.
Standard soft-fruit punnet bases have traditionally been made of clear rigid PET plastic to show a 360-degree view of attractive fruit inside.
