API Incest To Enhance Holographic Foil & Film Capability

Brand enhancement specialist API has increased its holographic foil and film manufacturing capabilities after completing a recent £0.5 million investment at its Livingston facility in Scotland.

 

The programme followed the sale of its security holographic business in 2016 and was part of a large investment that has seen the Livingston site gain new capabilities in holographics and embossing, while also creating new jobs at the plant.

 

KAMA wins EDP Award for the new FF 52i in the category "best folding carton solution"

Dresden/Hamburg, May 18th, 2017 – KAMA has won the EDP Award 2017 for the “best folding carton solution” with their newly developed FF 52i folder gluer. The German based machine manufacturer had introduced the game-changing folder gluer dedicated to short runs and the digital workflow at drupa 2016. The highly automated KAMA FF 52i with its patented folding section allows for job changeovers in the record time of 5 minutes. The Jury honored the new development as a save folding carton solution with fully inline inspection of print and finishing.

Pianoro (Bologna) – Interpack has just ended and was a great success for the Marchesini Group. 5 thousand visitors entered the modern and bright open space booth of 1,200 square meters in Pavilion 8a throughout the exhibition week with peaks of visitors from Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Japan, China and England. Many guests were welcomed at the smart meeting room on the first floor of the booth from which they enjoyed a panoramic view of the whole hall.
