Spectra’s Sales Director, Jonathan Powell said, “Packaging Innovations provides an ideal stage for us to showcase our creativity whilst connecting with visitors face to face. Innovation continues to play a key role for Spectra as we strive to continually challenge ourselves to develop new ways to help brands stay ahead. This show gives us the ideal shop window opportunity to do that”.
Spectra’s 9th consecutive appearance will yet again see the UK converter premiere a range of radical new innovative prototype designs.
Sure to attract keen visitor attention, this latest collection of groundbreaking designs includes a trio of flipped fun packs, a distinctive tablet pack with a curved corner closure and an ingenious three-part drawer design.
Jonathan commented, “As the packaging industry continues to evolve with changing trends, brands are constantly looking for a solution that will give them an advantage in fiercely competitive markets. It has always been our mission to push the boundaries in innovative pack design to satisfy that demand”.
As well as premiering new designs Spectra will also use the show to highlight their environmental credentials, focussing on sustainable material alternatives, post-industrial recycling, internal waste-saving measures and energy efficiency initiatives.
Jonathan added, “Innovation needn’t just be confined to pack or closure designs. We also take an innovative approach to how we run our business from a sustainability perspective and we will look to illustrate that at the show. Although we welcome the recent focus in the media on the environmental impacts of plastic, it's important we demonstrate that as a manufacturer we take our responsibilities seriously”.
