Berry Global says it is seeing increasing interest in its recently launched Reusable Cup range from companies in the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants and Catering) sector seeking to replace single-use packaging with high-functioning alternatives.

Aluminium Deutschland (AD) is pleased to announce the election of Johannes Schick, CEO of the Linhardt Group, as the new Chairman of its Tubes, Cans, and Impact Extruded Parts Division. Schick assumed the role at the beginning of 2025 and will serve a two-year term.

He succeeds Clemens Behrenbruch, Managing Director of Alltub Germany, who has led the division with dedication and expertise. Under the leadership of Mr. Behrenbruch, the division has navigated key industry developments and strengthened its position within the aluminum packaging sector.

The PAM automation option (precise, autonomous, mechatronic) for flat dies and coextrusion adapters from Reifenhäuser makes work easier for machine operators, increases productivity and enables the simple production of top film quality. Mechatronic actuators automatically adjust the feed block and die via the system's control panel. This makes producers less dependent on a shortage of skilled workers.
