bryson recycling, a northern irish recycling firm, agreed to supply cartons to a recycling facility. the alliance for beverage cartons & the environment ace uk that represents carton manufacturers tetra pak, sig combibloc and elopakand, and packaging manufacturer sonoco alcore are developing this facility. the plant is expected to be online in early 2013 at stainland, west yorkshire. the facility will be capable of processing about 25,000 tonnes of cartons a year. bryson recycling will also process materials of beverage cartons collected by ace uk&rsquos bring banks.

A new plant for baginbox packaging will be built in spain by smurfit kappa. This new plant is aimed to satisfy the needs of smurfit kappa&rsquos increasing numbers of customers in the mediterranean region. Smurfit kappa will make an investment of about &euro28m in its new site, in lbi, which is in the area of alicante.

A survey done by the european commission denotes that the recycling and segregation of trash process is on the high peak in austria. The survey also states that, along with austria, even in countries like luxembourg, germany, and slovenia, trash recycling is increasing like never before. About 97 population of these countries segregates trash. This figure is 8 more than the average of trash segregating population of european union. Across all of europe, the most waste for segregation is collected by austria. Households&rsquo contribution, in the year 2010, was 504,000 tons.
