She is m.sc., ph. d in botany from university of delhi. She is principal of shaheed rajguru college of applied sciences for women, university of delhi and run a b.sc honours course in food technology. She is also the president of afsti delhi chapter.
Some of their students after completion of b.sc pursue the postgraduate diploma in packaging from iip indian institute of packaging.
