New vision packaging has been helping absolute beauty solutions fly the flag for temporary hair colour and capitalise on what has been a patriotic summer. The ketteringbased packaging design and sourcing specialist has just completed work on a full service contract for the company, creating a range of innovative colour gift sets. The colour xtreme hair art range consists of three different kits to create unique coloured designs without compromising the condition of the user&39s hair. Each kit contains three temporary colour spays and a set of stencils based on one of three designs a union jack, a peacock design or a leopard print effect. As part of the contract, new vision handled all elements of the packaging from the design and concept, through to delivery and deployment.
This included the packaging artwork, packaging materials, pet stencils, set build and transit testing. Commenting on the project, stephen shortland, managing director of new vision packaging, said "this was a fastpaced, fun project to be involved with, for a sector that we have a lot of experience in. It was also hugely topical given the national celebrations and sporting events that we¹ve seen this summer. It&39s no surprise that the products have been flying off the shelves, particularly the union jack option." "we&39re starting to see a greater need for full service contracts and the fact that we¹re able to offer a number of different elements, puts us in a strong position."
"this kind of approach has a number of advantages. It means that the client only has one company to trade with, cutting down development and production times and facilitating greater speed to shelf. It also means that quality is consistent and costs are more easily controlled.
With these kinds of benefits and the current economic instability, you can see why it¹s becoming a highly desired way of working." helen garton, product manager at absolute beauty solutions, added "working with new vision packaging on the development of three exciting new gift sets was an absolute pleasure. From start to finish, they were on hand to provide creative, packaging and product solutions.
They ensured the project ran smoothly and, most importantly, on time, even with the tight deadlines involved." new vision packaging has worked alongside absolute beauty solutions¹ parent organisation, the quantum beauty company, for the last seven years. Together, they have worked on a number of high profile projects, including ranges for renowned hairdresser lee stafford. Httpwww.packagingeurope.compackagingeuropenews49333newvisiongetspatrioticwi…
