Bangalore 13th july, 2009 on the occasion of their silver jubilee celebrations, bangalore based packaging major, manjushree technopack ltd, announced the formal commissioning of two 96&rsquo cavity canadian husky machines, at their plant, in bommasandra, bangalore, today. The two husky machines were inaugurated by the patrick yadauga, vice president, hindustan cocacola beverages pvt ltd. Also present on the occasion were r.d udeshi, president, polyester chain, reliance industries ltd and ramesh chauhan, chairman and managing director, bisleri international. The two husky machines that together represent a combined capacity of 14,000mtpa will be used to manufacture pet preforms, for supply to the beverage industry and in particular to the carbonated soft drink sector. Leading names in the industry that buy pet preforms from manjushree include hindustan coca cola beverages hccb, pepsico and bisleri. Manjushree in fact has a three year arrangement with hccb, for the supply of pet preforms, to the south india operations of coca cola, for packing products like coke, sprite, fanta, thums up and kinley.
