Berry Global is experiencing growing interest in its Reusable Cup Range, particularly from the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering) sector, as businesses seek high-functioning alternatives to single-use packaging.
Now enhanced with a new multi-purpose sip lid, the range is ideal for both on-site and takeaway use. “We are thrilled with the traction our reusable cup range is gaining,” said Uwe Zinnert, Sales Director for Reusables at Berry. “These cups help foodservice businesses meet consumer demand and regulatory requirements for sustainable solutions while maintaining premium quality and branding opportunities.”
Part of Berry’s B Circular Range, the cups are made from stackable, dishwasher-safe polypropylene with heat-insulating ribs for comfort and stability. Customizable In-Mould Labelling (IML) enhances branding, while the mono-material design ensures recyclability in regions with suitable infrastructure.
A key innovation in the range is the integration of RFID chips or unique QR codes, enabling tracking, inventory management, and streamlined return deposit systems. This feature led to a Packnorth 2024 Award nomination in the “Smart & Intelligent Packaging” category.
“At Berry, we are committed to circular economy solutions that combine resource efficiency, functionality, and innovation,” Zinnert added.
