Among the highlights will be the Vegetop® sprinkler, the new EnviroStick™ for the beauty market, and the Greencan® packaging solution.
Philippe Creux, Sales Director South West Europe at Sonoco Consumer Products Europe, expressed the company's excitement about exhibiting new innovation, marking a return to more traditional events after challenging times. Sonoco is eager to introduce its sustainable consumer packaging products to the French market.
Recognizing the pressing need to minimize the environmental impact of packaging, Sonoco is introducing Vegetop, an eco-friendly solution suitable for dietary supplements and food. This product features a rigid paperboard container with a compostable shaker top sprinkler lid made from Vegemat, a 100% biobased, biodegradable, and fully compostable material. Sonoco has partnered with Vegeplast to offer customers a functional, fully biodegradable alternative to conventional plastics.
Sonoco's new beauty product solution, EnviroStick™, is a 3-piece push-up bottom tube crafted from recycled fiber. It offers flexibility in label design for the outer and inner packaging, addressing the substantial need for sustainable solutions in the European cosmetics and personal care market.
Completing the lineup is Sonoco's Greencan packaging solution, part of the EnviroSense® family. Greencan utilizes recycled fiber and can be customized to meet product and supply chain requirements in various markets. This all-paper package, known for its recyclability and high performance, can be tailored to specific shapes, accommodating a wide range of products and brands.
