They pursue the goal of protecting these products’ provenance and authenticity from counterfeits through product pedigree, transaction records, and supply chain integrity.
Autentico develops an innovative anti-counterfeiting system, applicable to most major products – from the food sector to the clothing area, but with a distinct focus on wine. It involves the application of unique and non-duplicable electronic labels (NFC), for the identification of original products. These labels contain the authenticity information for each product and are readable by any smartphone equipped with NFC technology and the authentic app. During the reading of the product and the tag through the authentic NFC app, the position of the product is memorized and all the readings can be viewed by the manufacturer through the appropriate reserved area.
