The sustainability principles of Remove-Reduce-Recycle are present in all parts of this project.
Remove - specific layers of the "typical structure" - composite (PET and PET metal layer) were replaced so that the physical-mechanical properties of the packaging remained the same.
Reduce – the number of layers has been reduced. The structure used is based on Duplex instead of Triplex.
Recycle – structure based on PP – matt OPP film/barrier PP film can fully replace the typically used structure and is also fully recyclable. Matte OPP film is used in this structure instead of matte varnish.
After using the product itself, the packaging can be 100% recyclable, thus meeting the circular economy criteria.
