Domino Printing Sciences (Domino) is proud to present solutions aimed at helping manufacturers embrace sustainable manufacturing at Interpack 2023. The event, which takes place between 4th and 10th May 2023 in Düsseldorf, Germany, is a platform for the latest in packaging and processing technology innovations. Domino will demonstrate how the company is partnering with manufacturers on their ‘Journey to Zero’, with services and solutions targeting zero coding errors, zero product waste, zero unplanned downtime, and zero capital commitment.
“We are very pleased to be returning to Interpack after the show’s six-year hiatus, and are looking forward to welcoming visitors back to the Domino stand,” says Will Edwards, Director of Channels, Domino. “As a business, we are committed to helping manufacturers to be sustainable, and cut waste, and we are very excited to be able to demonstrate our range of solutions helping us to fulfill this goal and support our customers on their ‘Journey to Zero’.”
At Interpack [Booth C41, Hall 8B], Domino will demonstrate a range of complementary solutions to help manufacturers reduce waste while protecting end consumers and brand value. These solutions include advanced coding automation software to reduce reliance on error-prone manual tasks, cloud-based solutions for remote performance monitoring, external vision systems for simplified code inspection, and flexible finance options to allow manufacturers to adopt new technology solutions today without capital investment. Visitors to the stand can also use an interactive waste identification and calculation app to help understand the hidden causes and costs of waste in their production environment.
“To be sustainable, manufacturers must optimize processes to maximize the number of sellable products generated and flowing through the supply chain. Putting effort and energy into inefficient processes is unsustainable from both a business and an environmental perspective,” says Adem Kulauzovic, Director of Automation, at Domino. “Our solutions are designed to help manufacturers maximize productivity and invest more time in the next step of their sustainability journey.”
In addition, Domino will showcase how it partners with packaging manufacturers to optimize coding and marking solutions for new, sustainable packaging materials to help mitigate the risks for manufacturers in their ‘Journey to Zero’. Domino’s specialists will be on hand throughout the week to discuss customer-specific requirements and deliver hands-on demonstrations. Visitors can expect to see some of Domino’s latest innovations for printing on paper, plastics, metal, and a whole range of new and improved substrates.
