All rotary feeders in this series already comply with the new Machinery Directive 2000/42 / EC that has been in force since December 29, 2009. In the risk assessment required therein, the microbiological, physical and chemical requirements were also taken into account. The GMP / FDA requirements and DIN EN 1672-2 are met with measures such as product-contact (inside) ground, surface quality according to the desired Ra value, all welds free of gaps, optionally electropolished, free of dead spaces. Wherever absolute freedom from gaps and dead space is not possible for structural reasons, attention was paid to ease of dismantling and cleaning.
The solids rotary valve type SRVS - Hygienic is also suitable for use under Ex conditions. These rotary valves have been tested by a universally recognized and approved test center, the DEKRA Exam.
The solids rotary valve type SRVS - Hygienic has been certified as being suitable for Zone 20 with a type examination. This rotary valve can therefore be used in Zone 20 Category 1 according to ATEX RL 94/9 / EG with a declaration of conformity.
The sister series type SRVP is also available as a protection system according to ATEX. This ensures maximum system security for the operator.
