The new company, based in Granollers (Barcelona), will work alongside Sacmi Iberica and focus on the commercialization of complete, fully integrated plant engineering solutions for the beverage industry
Present in Iberia since 1981 with Sacmi Iberica, the Sacmi Group has focused its efforts within the beverage sector further by setting up a company, Sacmi Beverage Iberica, based in Granollers (Barcelona): this firm is exclusively dedicated to the promotion of technologies, products and services for the beverage industry in Spain and Portugal.
A key feature of this new firm is the team of professionals with extensive experience in marketing solutions for the beverage industry; the company has been established for the precise purpose - in line with long-standing Sacmi Group policies – of working as closely as possible with customers on all the world’s main markets and, within areas considered strategic for the Group, by diversifying to meet the needs of individual businesses.
Analysis and development of all key markets – from bottlers to preform producers – will be an essential part of the mission of Sacmi Beverage Iberica, whose targets include the carbonated soft drinks, water, beer and food oil sectors plus interesting new prospects linked to the dairy world. The company also commercializes specially designed pant engineering solutions for the wine-making industry.
In addition to the design and sale of complete lines – from stretch-blow moulding to filling, from labelling to preform and closure production, which respectively use injection and compression technology – Sacmi Beverage Iberica provides an integrated range of quality control and end-of-line solutions, with latest-generation inspection systems offering direct in-line “total quality control” of the entire cap-bottle system.
The result is an integrated, turnkey, all-round technology and plant engineering range that brings together the technological and manufacturing excellence of the individual Group companies: all accompanied by a global service/assistance network that, as of today, can now count on this new firm dedicated to the Iberian market.
Completing the picture is the work done by the Italy-based Beverage R&D facility. This provides services for all Group companies and – thanks also to certification obtained from key players in the industry – is equipped to provide customers with close support right from the test phase, thus ensuring full compliance with specific requests and cutting-edge solutions that enhance reliability, flexibility, productivity and energy consumption.
