Amcor has launched AmLite Ultra Recyclable, its first packaging product made from the company’s revolutionary, more sustainable high-barrier polyolefin film that the company announced last year. The new high-barrier laminate can package a range of food, home and personal care, and pharmaceutical products, and be recycled in existing polyolefin recycling streams.
PackPlus South- South India’s largest packaging show along with PrintFair 2019- The commercial printing, Package Converting and Digital sign show concluded successfully on 13 April’19 at BIEC, Bengaluru. "Splashing Fruits” Win Silver. A total of 13 awards went to DS Smith’s display and packaging strategists at this year’s Print Awards by the European Flexographic Industry Association (EFIA). The silver medallists included DS Smith Germany with their printed image for the multivitamin-12 juice drink by the Christinen brand. The photo-realistic image of fruit splashing into mineral water showcases DS Smith’s excellence in flexographic post-printing down to the very last halftone detail.
APIs are critical components that make drug formulations potent against disease. There are about 2,500 APIs that are used to create hundreds of thousands of drug formulations.
“Raw material is usually supplied in bulk and its authenticity affects the final product. After the barcoding rule is implemented, the misuse of names and brands and sale of counterfeit drugs should come down significantly,” said Dr S Eswara Reddy, drugs controller general of India (DCGI).
