Flip Lid by Aptar is a uniquely simple, consumer friendly dispensing closure designed to promote post use recycling. Flip Lid remains united with the bottle through its lifecycle, making the closure more likely to be collected and sent through the recycling stream with the container. In addition to the sustainability benefits, FLIP LID creates a convenient and enjoyable experience to consumers. They no longer need to unscrew the cap, but simply flip it open and drink or pour the product.

With the latest upgrade to its ACOPOSmulti multi-axis servo drive, B&R now enables even shorter cycle times down to 50 μs. Highly dynamic processes can bow be controlled more precisely than ever.

The ACOPOSmulti's short cycle time of 50 µs for current, speed and position control opens up new possibilities for virtual sensor technology.

Siegwerk, one of the world’s leading providers of printing inks for packaging applications and labels, presented its newest development project as part of the recyclate initiative of Werner & Mertz at this year’s international PLMA trade show, the “World of Private Label,” in Amsterdam.

The smartphones’ boxes and interior packaging have been redesigned so as to reduce their environmental footprint and consume fewer resources. For example, whereas previous devices’ packaging included a box-covering sleeve, a holder tray and a bottom box, the Galaxy S10 retains just the bottom box. The smartphones’ packaging also includes an all-in-one pulp mold1 that optimizes space for the devices and their components, and minimizes waste.
