SUN Automation Group, a global leader in providing innovative solutions to the global corrugated industry, will introduce to the European market its new modular design of its CorrStream® technology. The first digital printer designed and built for the corrugated industry will be featured at the FESPA Global Print Expo 2019 in Munich from May 14 to 17 (Hall A5, Stand G51).

Berry bpi staff joined businesses, charities, children from local primary schools, and councillor Jim McEleny and MP Ronnie Cowan, to collect litter at the Belville Community Garden Trust at Craigend Resource Centre on 18th September.

About 300 sample bottles have been produced using 25% recycled marine plastic[1], retrieved from the Mediterranean Sea and beaches. A small step for now, but the technology behind it has big potential.

Recycling the unrecyclable

The marine plastic bottle has been developed to show the transformational potential of revolutionary ‘enhanced recycling’ technologies, which can recycle previously used plastics of any quality back to the high-quality needed for food or drinks packaging.

The award-winning equipment, in the category of displays for point of sales, was a cardboard island, consisting of a modular structure, integrating real ropes as a true stand- out feature. This eye catching and attractive solution, structurally developed for Unilever FIMA, provided great prominence to the Tresemmé brand.

The benefits of this innovation include the ability to instantly and unequivocally authenticate products when suspect events occur and specifically addresses the problems of counterfeiting, product diversion, returns monitoring, quality control and product recalls in pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals.
