Sanner GmbH has developed a new closure FOG 27  for effervescent packaging. According to the company this FOG 27 closure can be opened in about a third of the time – and with 70 percent less physical effort compared to conventional closures. In this way, best-agers receive a safe, high-quality alternative and Food supplement producers also gain satisfied customers. In terms of tightness, the FOG 27 is just as reliable as conventional closures: despite the easy opening, full product protection is ensured.

RPC Bebo Plastik has developed a multilayer on-the-go cup for a new ready-to-drink iced coffee from one of the fastest growing coffee shop brands in the world. Frappe Chill is the latest offering from Café Coffee Day, which was established in Bangalore, India in 1996 and now has outlets throughout the world, including Austria, Czech Republic, Dubai, Malaysia and Egypt. The new drink is the company’s take on the original frothy Greek beverage with a unique flavour and an impeccable iced coffee blend.

EcoSol® is a water soluble, biodegradable, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) film ideally suited for various packaging applications. • EasyLid is a unique packaging system developed by Sealpac in close collaboration with Naber plastics.
• This innovative lid replaced the extra lid requirement used for containers.
• This  top seal packaging wherein use is made of a double-seal technique. The upper edge is sealed in two stages, and during sealing, the outer ring is pushed to the bottom and is separated from the receptacle. 
• This creates a ring with plastic foil, which is to be used as a lid. 
• This packaging meets entirely the sealing functions and plugged into a single sealing process

This is an extraordinary form of packaging and use of material (100% recyclable). The packaging generates very much attention at the POS and already has a high iconic character. The packaging is a "big idea", which can be easily transported onto other media. The design is modern and purist, with a clear focus on brand and product / packaging.
