a triangular pizza pack that tested food packaging boundaries is among the innovations being exhibited by pacfood at auspack stand 328.the heat sealed triangle was required by a brisbane customer for a large new york pizza slice product, and is now on sale in the fresh chilled aisles at iga, according to harald hendricks, managing director of the food industry packaging specialist.hendricks says a special cutter was needed to create the triangular pizza bag, which was launched just a few months ago.the company was also showcasing its biodegradable trolly covers and piping bags, the latter which won a fine food australia innovation award last year.according to hendricks, pac food seeks to supply biodegradable products for the same price or lower to reduce their environmental footprint whenever possible.
