Valeo Service Company wanted to replace plastic padding in their headlamp packages for environmental reasons. A corrugated insert structure was developed to protect the fragile product. The winning design was developed at our Arzamas mill where also the first production lots were produced. Years of experience, understanding of customer’s needs and corrugated material features were appreciated by the customer. In addition to this solution, similar solutions are further created for the same customer. The judges of the competition also paid attention, not only to package design, but on reasoning, effectiveness, usability and sustainability of the solution.
