Emmi, switzerland&rsquos leading cheese and dairy product company, has introduced their brand new cheeseboard with a hard cheese range available in the two varieties swiss tradition and premium selection. Now consumers have the choice between four different types of individually portioned cheese, but conveniently packed in one single pack. The innovative packaging format used to pack emmi&rsquos cheeseboard consists of a tray with four separate cavities and is sealed with a lidding film from amcor flexibles, which is further enhanced by amcor contour perforation technology. Consumers clearly benefit from amcor&rsquos expertise in contour perforation as they can now either peel the complete lid open or, if they want a single piece only, push the individual cavities open and only take the cheese they long for. The pack&rsquos lid plays an important role in the launch of our new product. Through amcor&rsquos knowhow in contour perforation technology we were able to give the consumer the choice to either open the whole pack at once or to access the individual portions only.
