Sargento is attempting to stretch its reach further into the healthful snacking trend with a fridge pack of string cheese sticks. Eighteen sticks come to a pack, and the idea behind the paperboard carton is increased visibility in the refrigerator when the snacking urge comes. Rather than individual cheese sticks laying flat inside a drawer in the refrigerator, sargento sticks stand upright in a carton. A tear tab on the front panel enables the carton to double as a dispenser that exposes the top half of the sticks for easy viewing and grabbing.
