Malaysia receives over half of its products, while countries like brunei, china, hong kong, india, indonesia, laos, macau, singapore, thailand, and vietnam are sold the other exports. Its products are also marketed in australia, austria, italy, canada, greece, new zealand, spain, and the united states. Datuk seri lee hock seng, managing director of this company stated that it aims to conquer the japanese market with its cleanroom facility that will be ready in two years. He further said that the world will continue to have plastic packaging as the most universal material due to no other cheaper or optionally universal materials being available.
He also stated that new growth in the inflexible plastic packaging sector is being recorded with the use of polyethylene terephthalate pet packaging. Last year, they purchased new thermoformed plastic packaging and extruder machines to enhance production volume and decrease wastage. Following the annual general meeting of scgm bhd in kulai, he recently stated that these ecofriendly machines facilitate in recycling waste materials.
