Banrock Station Unveils Wise Wolf: A Groundbreaking Step in Sustainable Wine Packaging
In a landmark moment for the Australian wine industry, Banrock Station has introduced Wise Wolf—a pioneering wine range housed in one of the most eco-friendly glass bottles ever seen in the market. This innovation reinforces Banrock Station’s commitment to sustainability while offering wine lovers a premium experience.
Wise Wolf by Banrock Station represents more than just great wine; it embodies the future of circular packaging. The bottles are crafted from 91% recycled glass, a remarkable achievement made possible through a collaboration with Visy Glass. Beyond the bottle, every element of Wise Wolf's packaging is designed with sustainability in mind. The labels are made from 100% upcycled sugarcane, while the caps contain 40% recycled aluminum and use 26% fewer materials than the industry average. Even the cartons are made from 100% recycled paper pulp, making Wise Wolf a truly eco-conscious choice for wine consumers.
But Wise Wolf doesn’t just excel in its environmental credentials—it offers exceptional wine, sourced from some of South Australia’s most renowned wine regions. Set to launch in October, the range will feature a Limestone Coast Chardonnay and an Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc, with a Barossa Valley Shiraz joining the lineup next year.
As the wine industry increasingly embraces sustainability, Wise Wolf by Banrock Station sets a new benchmark, blending eco-innovation with premium winemaking. Wine enthusiasts can now enjoy a glass of great wine while knowing they’re making a positive impact on the planet.
