Starting September 10, McDonald’s is introducing the Mini McFlurry to participating U.S. locations, offering fans a smaller, craveable portion of their favorite frozen treat. Whether you’re a fan of classic OREO®, prefer M&M’S®, or love trying limited-time flavors, the Mini McFlurry delivers all the indulgence in a more convenient size.
Perfect for sharing or a quick pick-me-up, the Mini McFlurry caters to those looking for a sweet treat in moderation. Plus, it comes with an eco-friendly twist. As part of McDonald’s sustainability efforts, the Mini and Regular McFlurry will now be served in a more environmentally conscious four-flap cup, phasing out plastic lids. This packaging update supports McDonald's goal of sourcing 100% of its primary guest packaging from renewable, recycled, or certified materials by 2025.
“Packaging updates like this matter,” said Michael Gonda, SVP, Chief Impact Officer for McDonald's North America. “Not only does it give our fans a new way to enjoy the McFlurry, but it also helps us reduce waste and move closer to our sustainability goals.”
Already available in markets like Canada and Indonesia, the new packaging is now coming to U.S. stores, making it easier than ever to enjoy your favorite McFlurry while making a positive impact on the environment.
