The all-new CDS Case De-Stacker, significantly reduces the duty on operators loading cases into fully automated case packing machines and reduces the repetitive manual handling demand by automatically de-stacking cases and delivering them to the case packing machine. The CDS is designed to de-stack both RPC and cardboard cases of all standard sizes in either orientation on the same machine, utilising quick change tooling and a recipe driven control system. Matching the market leading product change-over speed delivered by the case packing range that takes less than a minute to change product. The length of the feed conveyor can be configured to suit any application giving up to an hour of operation before requiring reloading*.
“Our commitment to innovation and efficiency shines through, with the launch of our groundbreaking CDS Case De-Stacker. By automating the de-stacking process, we're not just complementing our award-winning case packing equipment – we're revolutionising packaging efficiency. We're proud to offer a solution that not only enhances operational speed but also prioritizes the safety of our operators.” Comments Nick Severn, Product Line Manager - End of Line Solutions
Compatible with the CP2, CP3 and CP4, the CDS can deliver up to 35 cases per minute to match the most demanding of applications and can also be used to deliver single or multiple stacked cases to manual packing lines and existing automated packaging equipment.
The use of a muting light curtain ensures the CDS conforms to the relevant safety standards with muting sensors to differentiate between a stack of cases and a person entering the area, ensuring the safety of operators during use.
Sharing spare parts wherever possible across their entire tray sealing range, case packing range, and now the de-stacker promotes efficient stock management helping to ensure the machines are running at required production speeds with minimal downtime or interruptions with reduced cost.
