indiabased rajhans enterprises has acquired a five layer extrusion line for film production to extend its operations to the flexible packaging market.the company has been expanding its operations in the past few months and one of its investments has been the acquisition of a five layer extrusion line for film production.rajhans has invested in a 1300mm wide f&k 20six ci flexo press which is equipped with smartgps, bobst&39s unique impression and registration setting system. the new equipment enables repeats up to 800mm with a maximum speed of 400 metresmin.the print week quoted a balachandra of rajhans as saying "our acquisitions include a fully loaded uv printing press from heidelberg, a gallus narrow web label press a kodak nx platesetter, a kit for gravure and lamination puches from china, plus a ci flexo press from bobstand a fivelayer excluder from macchi."rajhans enterprises which is based in bengaluru is considered to be one of the largest offset and commercial web offset printers in south india and prints 45 titles monthly and six titles weekly apart from numerous newspaper titles in three locations, plus mono carton production.rajhans enterprises director akash balachandra said to the print week "ever since its inauguration, our company has constantly drawn strength from a pioneering spirit and a commitment to quality."with the recent investment in flexo printing equipment, we are set for further growth by entering new markets. at the same time, with the acquisition of the f&k 20six, we can be sure to deliver the benchmark quality to new markets that indian print buyers would associate with rajhans."
