The company's decision to utilize EnviroStick™ packaging stems from its recycled cardboard composition, aligning with Respectueuse's commitment to promoting sustainability. The brand, centered on the principles of 'my health' and 'my planet,' champions vegan, 100% natural, certified, and organic products while minimizing plastic waste through the use of cardboard packaging.
Respectueuse believes that integrating eco-friendly packaging not only resonates with its core values but will also contribute to increased recycling rates among cosmetics consumers in the French market. Myriam Reynaud-Cleyet, the founder of Respectueuse, emphasizes the significance of Sonoco's European presence in manufacturing 3-pieces cardboard push-up packaging, noting the positive impact on sustainability and the reduction of the brand's carbon footprint.
Looking ahead, Respectueuse contemplates extending the use of EnviroStick™ packaging to other products in its cosmetic and beauty range, such as sunscreen. Established in France in 2021, Respectueuse operates with a small but growing team and has partnered with the NGO Expedition 7th Continent to combat plastic pollution actively.
