The project consists of an HK-S cartoner for packing biscuits and a subsequent case packer for forming packs in a wrap-around carton. The placing of the biscuits in the tubular bag into the product cassette of the cartoner is done fully automatically by a loading cell with robots. This combination of machines processes up to 150 boxes per minute with three different packing schemes.
The case packer then groups the boxes into bundles of up to 48 pieces and packs them. So that the boxes can be grouped both vertically and horizontally, the case packer has two different inlets instead of the usual one. Ultimately, a control unit checks the container for completeness.
The line has ECONO-PAK clamp conveyors for better access to all areas. This eliminates the need for employees to use stairs and increases work safety.
