amcor&rsquos folding carton business, a division of global packaging leader amcor group gmbh, has launched a new printing technology named sunshine.the patentpending technology consists of an inline application of a bright silver coating over an ultraviolet uv or electronbeam eb primer. sunshine technology is a cuttingedge development using the gravure printing process.sunshine offers a wide range of costeffective design options and can serve as an alternative to existing multiprocess technologies such as metalized board and hot foil stamping.the end result reflects more lumens of light compared to metallic inks whether applied overall, or as a spot application.
