german company uboot getränke has launched a new cocktail onto the market, thanks to an innovative packaging concept from greiner packaging.the classic &lsquouboat&rsquo is a schnapps glass filled with highproof spirits that is dropped into a glass with soda. previously unavailable in clubs and bars where drinks were dispensed only in bottles, a bold &lsquobottleinabottle&rsquo concept will launch the product to a broader audience.&ldquowe developed a bottleinthebottle concept and mastered the challenge of functionality and product safety. both bottles are sealed with the same cap which, when unscrewed, detaches the smaller inner bottle the uboat from the seal the uboat then sinks in the bigger outer bottle,&rdquo explained günter ausserwöger, head of greiner packaging&rsquos division kavo.uboat drinks are available in four flavours &lsquoblue&rsquo glacier water liqueur with lemon soda &lsquogreen&rsquo herb liqueur with energy drink &lsquoyellow&rsquo vodka with orange soda &lsquoorange&rsquo vodka with energy drink.the inner 30 ml and outer 140 ml bottles are made by injection stretch blow moulding the seal is injected.
