packaging company greenbottle has signed a deal with wine supplier kingsland wines and spirits to produce what it claims is the world&rsquos first paper wine bottle.kingsland, which supplies wine to many of the multiples, will be putting a range of wines in greenbottles a paper outer bottle with a thin plastic lining. asda stores in the south west already sell milk in the bottles.the bottle would weigh approximately 60g, compared with at least 400g for a standard glass bottle, and would have a significantly lower carbon footprint and transport costs, said greenbottle.to recycle the bottle, consumers tear out the plastic liner and recycle the paper bottle with other paper waste.
