Constantia Flexibles to double sales in India in five years

Constantia Flexibles, the world’s fourth largest flexible packaging group, is aiming to double its sales in India within the next five years. This is the result of its recent acquisition of a majority stake in Creative Polypack and its group companies, as well as expansion plans of its existing subsidiary Parikh Packaging.

Constantia Flexibles Group is now the third largest flexible packaging company in India after successfully completing its acquisition of a majority shareholding in India’s Creative Polypack Limited after all conditions were fulfilled. The transaction was originally announced on March 23, 2018.

International pharmaceutical corporation Pfizer opted for Schreiner MediPharm’s Needle-Trap needle protection label to equip the syringes for its epoetin biosimilar. This makes it the first medication for the treatment of anemia to be launched on the market with Needle-Trap–initially in Germany and Austria, to be followed by a successive rollout on the European market.
