IndiaCorr Expo 2017, the key annual event and the largest professional gathering of corrugated packaging, saw the best result in its 5 th year. The three-day event with ICCMA Congress took place from 14 th to 16 th September at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. The best ever participation of 200+ exhibitors from 11 nations was a comprehensive success, breaking all the records set in previous editions. Over 5750 visitors (round about 34% increase from last year) on 10,000 sqm of gross exhibition space have confirmed impressively that, IndiaCorr is an event not to be missed.
The new concept, quality, idea and dimensions addressed all the trends and issues that shape the corrugated packaging world. The event was officially inaugurated by top industry stakeholders accompanied by business professionals. IndiaCorr Expo together with ICCMA congress gathered 390+ conference delegates. The show not only displayed a wide variety of products and technologies, but also shared industry perspective. Exhibitors and visitors both conducted very good to excellent contacts and business deals.

The show nearly covered 100+ products on the show floor covering the gamut from corrugated box making machinery, printing machinery, ancillary equipment, paper, testing equipment and box designing software. There were 74 new companies who have debuted in the exhibition. The show witnessed 52 product launches from Emba, Senior Paper, A.S. Print, Robus India, Ajit Industries, Valco Melton, Mosca, Erhardt+Leimer India Pvt. Ltd., Jhalani Kamleh and many more.
Many of the new technologies including paper corrugation; die-cutting; automatic corrugated board-making; sheet-cutting; sheet pasting and pressing; cutting and creasing; corrugation box stitching; die-punching; flexo printing; honey comb; lamination; slitting and rewinding and rigid box manufacturing machines were on display at the exhibition.
Internationality at its Best…
IndiaCorr and India Folding Carton welcomed 5700+ high-quality visitors this year – more than ever before. The show not only gathered Indian visitors but overseas as well from China, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Japan, Middle East and African countries. Survey conducted during theshow indicated that 51% visitors visited to keep themselves updated on product innovations and 82% visitors stated that they met their objectives at the exhibition. Most of the visitors were directly involved in investment decisions. They were truly satisfied with the broad spectrum and the presence of market leaders at the event. Corrugated case manufacturers, suppliers, investors, corrugated packaging professionals were some of the areas of the visitors present at the show.
This year the exhibitors were also from several new countries including UK, Singapore, U.A.E. and Hong Kong who displayed several next-generation systems to meet changing production demands. Overall, the internationality was evident and IndiaCorr set a new record in this respect.
Supporting Programme – ICCMA Congress
Taking into account the hot topics across the sector this year, a series of talk sessions conducted at ICCMA Congress. The 3-day conference programme assembled 425 delegates, renowned motivational speaker and eminent speakers from WestRock, PwC, NTTF & KPMG who discussed the status of corrugated packaging industry and what portends for the industry in the future. The conference served as the gateway to the Indian market and as a venue for finding business partners.
The show also featured leading companies in three dedicated zones – Paper Zone, Digital Printing Zone and Ink Zone.
