D.P.R. Labeling is set to join Epson at the upcoming EXPO PACK México, taking place at the Expo Santa Fe México in Mexico City from June 5-8, 2018. The two companies will team up to show the compatibility between Epson printers and DPR’s Virgo, a newly released digital desktop finishing solution for labels and packaging.
During the three-day event, they will demonstrate how the two technologies combine to be a complete low-cost desktop label printing/finishing solution for users looking to produce label rolls that range from 4.3”-5.5” (110mm-140mm) wide. Ideal for those looking to create a variety of sizes, these two technologies provide complete versatility to print and cut any shape with precision - quickly producing smaller rolls for hand application or automatic applicators.
“With the rise in smaller independent brands, there’s been a corresponding demand from customers for lower quantities, higher degrees of personalization and shorter turnaround times. In-house label printing and finishing systems such as this are a cost-effective solution for companies looking to save time and money on outsourcing, and take control of their own branding and packaging,” says Michael Panzeri, VP of D.P.R. Labeling LLC. “In most cases, there is a greater need for a variety of few hundred labels at a time more so than thousands, and the Virgo is designed exactly for that.”
