Pharmintech 2016, the CEO, Maurizio Marchesini, comments: “A great result”. Countdown to the opening event of the factory in Carpi.
Pianoro (Bologna) – “Just like in 2013, this year again, Pharmintech was successful our Group”. Maurizio Marchesini, the CEO of the Marchesini Group, says he is satisfied with the company’s participation at the venue, which ended last Friday in Bologna, the main town of the Emilia Romagna region, where 70% of the pharmaceutical machinery made in Italy are produced. “Something has changed compared with three years ago. We have grown, not only in terms of our turnover, and we are still growing: in October, we will open the biggest thermoforming centre of Italy in Carpi, which will allow us to consolidate our standing on the marketplace of blister packaging machines. Some things that have not changed are the tailor-like quality of our work and our typical Italian hospitality, whether it be a trade show just down the road from our Headquarters or on the other side of the world”.
The Group illustrated three communication campaigns during the three-day venue in Bologna: Blisterevolution, which commenced last year and which has lead to the presentation of the new blister line Integra 520 V and which will come to its peak moment in a couple of months with the cutting of the tape at the new factory in Carpi (in the province of Modena, not far from the Headquarters in Pianoro). The Code of Ethics was distributed and, starting last January, it communicates the values and the objectives of the company bound to Corporate Social Responsibility. “Growing Younger” represents our growth, remaining young, and has become the motto and banner of the Group across the world.
At stand D59/E59, experts, customers and students were able to take a close look at the packaging machines exhibited at the trade show. Among these was Integra 220 - the ancestor of the Group’s robotic blister lines and the model from which the later versions 320 and 520 V were developed - and the syringe line made up of the thermoformer FBZ 320 and the cartoning machine BA 400 Argento, a combo unit capable of processing up to 300 cartons a minute. Some of the stand-alone solutions showcased were the RSF 03, belonging to the series of ampoule filling machines developed by Corima, the RL F200 by Neri, an automatic labelling machine for applying self-adhesive labels on products such as ampoules and carpules, the filling/closing units Mill 120, the RE 202 and the BL A 420, two compact and versatile machines for labelling and tracing cartons.
Having concluded Pharmintech, the exhibition season for Marchesini Group continues with more overseas venues, among which will be the C.I.P.M. exhibition in Chongqing (China), Interphex in New York and Fce Pharma in San Paolo. In September, the Group will be at Total 2016 (Birmingham) and Fachpack 2016 in Germany, just before the grand opening in Carpi next October 15th followed by the standing appointment at the Open House, from October 17th to 21st.
