Oberschleissheim, April 12, 2016 – The “Supplier of the Year Award” this year goes to FLEXcon, a company headquartered in the United States. The international manufacturer of pressure-sensitive films had previously been recognized as the best supplier of the year by Schreiner Group in 2012. The medium-sized business based in Massachusetts again impressed with a high overall rating in the categories of Quality, Logistics, Technology and Costs.
On April 8, Norbert Kreitmeir, Team Leader Purchasing Raw Materials at Schreiner Group, presented the “Supplier of the Year 2015” award to FLEXcon, represented by Dave Rosen, Executive Vice President International of FLEXcon. “We are delighted to be able to recognize our long-standing partner FLEXcon as the best supplier of the year for the second time now,” Kreitmeir said on the occasion of presenting the award at Schreiner Group’s headquarters in Oberschleissheim. “FLEXcon has a global footprint and is one of our major top suppliers at all of our manufacturing locations.”

The outstanding performance delivered by FLEXcon confirms the motivational effect of the “Schreiner Preferred Supplier” program which Schreiner Group uses to compare its suppliers from strategically relevant material groups. The program’s objective is to work very closely with the key suppliers in the categories it describes. Special “Supplier Development Award 2015” for C.H.Beck
For the second time, Schreiner Group presents a special award to a smaller yet extremely high-performing supplier. The “Supplier Development Award” this year goes to C.H.Beck, a printing company supplying untrimmed booklet sheets for the pharmaceutical sector to Schreiner Group. “We value the proactive and target-oriented cooperation with the company and its rigorous development regarding our requirements,” Kreitmeir said in appreciation of C.H.Beck’s outstanding quality.
