Utilising its continuous flow production process, Promethean is developing Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs). These are highly porous materials that are able to selectively adsorb the acetic acid which is responsible for the degradation of cellulose acetate that many 20th century audio and visual ‘memories’ are made from.
