The packs, which will launch in midmay, are the result of a yearlong project in which a number of upandcoming designers were considered. Nicola de main was chosen, the agency said, for her &ldquodistinctive graphic prints and signature quirky, feminine designs&rdquo. She is also reported to be a nivea soft fan herself. Kellie chapple, client services director at bulletproof said &ldquoinitially
We thought it would be quite a challenge to find an upandcoming fashion designer to work with us on the nivea soft limited edition packaging range, but then we found nicola de main whose designs were the perfect fit with the brand. &ldquonicola was a delight to work with and it was serendipity that she was already a nivea soft consumer. We are extremely happy with the result that nicola and our design team have created and look forward to seeing it on the shelves.&rdquo senior designer lauren milne added &ldquoworking with a super talented, upandcoming fashion designer was such a pleasure and a really exciting challenge.
Nicola&rsquos patterns together with her love of symmetry, nature, freedom and movement gave us lots of inspiration and ideas when designing the packs. The final solution was three vibrant and exciting limited edition packs, all completely unique from one another but part of a collection that reflected nicola&rsquos style perfectly whilst working harmoniously with the brand equities of nivea soft.&rdquo said the packs will launch in the uk, ireland, scandinavia and the netherlands in midmay.
