rpc bebo france has designed and produced a range of special measuring cups with full traceability for a variety of pet foods produced by royal canin, part of mars petcare and the global leader in pet healthcare and nutrition precise measurements and product safety are critical elements to ensure that royal canin pet foods retain the high quality and consumer confi dence expected of their brand. the guarantee of full traceability for each measuring cup is an important part of this, helping to confi rm the quality and integrity of each cup. various techniques were considered by the rpc bebo france technical team to meet the traceability requirement. the solution is an integrated code on the cup which is dry offset printed as part of the cup design. the code itself provides complete tracking of every individual cup back through its production to the raw materials used in its manufacture. the cups are thermoformed in polypropylene in three sizes &ndash 125g, 250g and 500g&ndash in nine different designs for a range of specialist biscuits for dogs and cats. source rpc mattersjulysep&3915
