The vivapen combines the usual form of a pen with the precision engineering of a click mechanism for the intuitive, precise and individual dosing of adhesive liquids for the pretreatment of teeth in dental restoration. The vivapen is used for introducing adhese® universal, a new singlecomponent, light cured universal adhesive for direct and indirect bonding procedures. The ergonomic design with moulded grips allows dentists to use the products as intuitively and precisely as required for dental tools. Using the attachable soto cannula set on twist off any use in the mouth can be covered.
The ergonomicallydesigned vivapen enables the adhesive to be delivered directly to the preparation in a fast and convenient manner with virtually no waste. Adhese® universal vivapen® delivers up to 190 singletooth applications, significantly more than a traditional adhesive bottle. Studies have shown that the bond strength of adhesive materials decreases over time as the solvent evaporates from the bottle.
The vivapen, on the other hand, delivers consistently high bond strength over time because it &lsquolocks in&rsquo the material to ensure fresh material every time. So material loss caused by residue in bottles or evaporation, and use of dosing panels can be reduced to a minimum. The information element is highlighted in colour, product visibility and the water level integrated.
