Packplus 2010 closes on a high noteon spot sales and serious enquiries mark another successful edition the 2010 edition of packplus the total packaging, processing and supply chain event closed on a successful note on 6 december at pragati maidan, new delhi. Spread over an area of 12,000 sqm, the exhibition with 350 exhibitors, 100 product launches, 230 running machineries and several other attractions had a footfall of 11, 423 visitors from all over the country and abroad. The exhibition showcased latest technological innovations from the industry and provided a business platform to the visitors who had one to one interaction with the senior personnel from the companies. There were several on the spot &lsquosold&rsquo machines, which underlines the serious quality of visitors to the show. The exhibition was complemented by the annual package conference, which in its 2010 edition focused on &lsquopackaging conversion&rsquo. With 87 attendees, the one day conference scheduled on 2 dec 2010 at pragati maidan delved deep into issues pertaining to the industry. The show is scheduled from december 710, 2011 at nsic exhibition centre, okhla industrial estate at new delhi. The converting zone will not be a part of the packplus 2011 as it will move to mumbai to be held separately in the next november. India converting show together with india flexo show and india corrugated show that traditionally form the converting zone at the pack plus exhibition will now be organized separately from november 2326, 2011 at bombay exhibition centre, mumbai, in deference to the wishes of the exhibitors who would like to explore the western markets.
