For the fourth year running Sacmi will be exhibiting on its own stand at the Djazagro fair in Algiers. A great opportunity to showcase its comprehensive plant engineering and technology range for the Food, Beverage & Packaging sectors in what is North Africa's most important market and the hub for development prospects across the continent.
Exports towards Asia, Europe and the Middle East are essential to the Algerian food&beverage industry. North Africa's prime market and the beachhead for far-reaching development prospects throughout the continent – from Tunisia to Morocco and beyond to sub-Saharan nations – Algeria sees the Djazagro fair (Palais des Expositions D’Alger, 10-13 April 2017) as a key meeting of the industry's leading international players.
Needless to say, those players include Sacmi [stand 1K028]: after the positive feedback of past editions, for the fourth year running we'll be heading to Algiers to illustrate our all- round plant engineering range for the industry, a range characterised by high levels of automation and productivity and maximum technological versatility to meet every possible production requirement.
Once again, Sacmi compression technology is set to play a vital role in another strategic challenge, that of the coffee capsule market. Here, the Group is fielding the new CCM press, which boasts the lowest management and running costs on the market. Capable of leading the way across a swath of businesses and technologies, Sacmi also provides cutting-edge injection technology solutions via its IPS range, now even more complete and versatile following the 2015 launch of the high-productivity IPS 400 solution. In keeping with customers' needs, the latter has also been made compatible with existing moulds.
Moving on, labelling solutions - in synergy with advanced Sacmi inspection systems for the quality control of capsules, labels and labelled containers - represent another pivotal element in the Sacmi range; since the first labellers were showcased at Djazagro in 2014, the Algerian market has provided excellent feedback. The latest innovations in the range - which feature enhanced modularity and versatility over multiple technologies and labelling systems - ensure such solutions are greatly appreciated by bottlers, as are Sacmi's complete automated, ultra-clean filling lines for water, soft drinks, CSD and its bag-in- box packaging solutions.
Right on the cutting edge of technology, Sacmi also provides excellent service thanks to smooth synergy with its Beverage R&D facility, certified by the industry's top international players, and close customer support/training that begins at the design stage and continues throughout the working life of the machine or plant. More specifically, on the African market Sacmi has invested heavily to make the most of enormous growth potential: three branches dedicated to the development of the beverage business (Morocco, Kenya and South Africa) have been established, while successfully completed projects have, in recent years, increased the number of key customer references in the area.
