This paper will describe the means to provide 360 degree inspection of a round container as that container travels down a conveyor. The object to be automatically verified and inspected is the label that has been applied to the container. The label must be the correct and expected one and may include important information that must be verified and recorded after the label has been applied to the container. Label information may include &bull a logo. &bull a product serial number in a barcode format &ndash 1d or 2d. &bull a upc code. &bull a lot code. &bull a date code. &bull the product name or flavor.
