fresh labels for perishable products

a new method of tracking a foods expiration date by using a universally recognizable visual. the label has one layer of info for the food with the barcode, and another on top with special ink reactive to ammonia. the ink is made of nontoxic, safe pigment of purple cabbages. the new design keeps people honest by changing colors based on the level of ammonia the food emits as it ages. once the meat or other perishable product is past it&rsquos due, the label will have turned from white to blue, making the item unscannable.

Single Serve Pack For Butter

Usually a butter packaging box is used to indicate the flavors of butter and protect butter during transportation, but now the package can also be used to spread the butter so that you no longer need to carry any additional cutlery. Simply pull the wooden spoon lid off and use that to spread the butter and then you can enjoy a nice breakfast. The idea behind this package is to pack butter in a very convenient singleserve way. The idea is neat and can be extended to yogurts and ice creams too. Although a safe plastic cover in is recommended to keep the product clean.

Perfume Packaging Design On Aluminum

The perfumes isabell packaging features a stylish aluminum sleeve.  The elegant design takes advantage of the authentic metal surface.  The silver on silver look is built on a brushed metal background highlighted with crisp diamond cut graphics. The perfumes isabell series of fragrance packaging includes two sizes of aluminum sleeves.  The embossed diamond cut graphics for each of the fragrance lines are created using an interchangeable emboss tool.  This option helps to minimize tooling costs.  One emboss tool was made for each of the fragrances.

No matter how we shake or tap the bottle, some of the content refuses to come out. In some cases, up to 20 percent is left in the packaging when it is dumped in the trash can. This is not only annoying for consumers, but also poses difficulties when recycling. If the products are pharmaceuticals, chemicals or pesticides, the rinsedout leftovers also have to be disposed of in a suitable manner. Thin films, no more than 20 nanometers thick are applied to the inside surface of the packaging. It is done by placing the plastics into a vacuum.

It is difficult to squeeze out that last bit of paste form the tube. Approximately 1 &ndash 13 of toothpaste is wasted because of this packaging issue. Some people cut open their toothpaste tube to extract the remaining paste others make their own toothpaste tube squeezers. Packaging for toothpaste and other house hold staples should be a pleasure to use, should look attractive and should make it as easy as possible to use all 100 of the contents inside the container. These tooth paste squeezers make it possible to consume all the content of the tube.

Evolv, a tool brand has hooked on design firm design guys to come up with an ecoconscious package for their latest series of tools. The firm hopes to adopt packaging that shuns the use of pvc by doing away with the clamshell and blister pack style container. Instead, evolv will use recyclefriendly corrugated cardboard to pack these set of tools. That&rsquos not all. This packaging can be easily produced by every vendor regardless of manufacturing technology capacity, making it a lot more practical and at the same time environmentfriendly and ecofriendly.
