Tailor-made 187ml wine can is Europe first

In a Europe first for beverage packaging, Ardagh Group is introducing a new slimline 187ml can specifically designed to present and protect wine and wine-based drinks. With its special design characteristics and unique sizing, the new can, set to launch in Q1 2020, is the latest addition to Ardagh’s pioneering Wine Can range. Its capacity is a personal wine serve of 187ml – a quarter of a standard 75cl bottle, and an attractive option for the increasing number of consumers who wish to enjoy a single drink with a meal or while on the go.

Fighting the skills shortage in packaging - 25 new NVC Packaging Professional graduates in 2019

On Tuesday 25 June 2019, the graduation ceremony for NVC Packaging Professionals took place in Gouda, hometown of the NVC Netherlands Packaging Centre. Twenty-five (25) business students passed the exam and can now be referred to as NVC Packaging Professional. NVC Packaging Professionals provide an essential contribution to the development of packaging worldwide, both in the business sector and in government bodies and research institutes. The new graduates are included in the Register NVC Packaging Professionals, which now holds 672 names.
