Dresden/Kuala Lumpur, 24 October 2016 – German based machine manufacturer KAMA expands its sales activities in the Far East and appoints knowledgeable Job van Hasselt to its Area Manager for South-East Asia, Pacific and Japan. Van Hasselt boasts 30 years of experience in the printing business, in particular in Asian markets, as he filled Senior Management positions with Bobst and manroland, to name just a few. As of now, Dutch-born van Hasselt, who is based in Malaysia, will support KAMA’s distribution partners, e.g. P.M. Trading in Korea, Heidelberg Japan K.K., Sinar Grafindo in Indonesia and Ferrostaal in Thailand.
“The Asian markets show a highly dynamic development, and embellishing e. g. with hot foil stamping and hologram is very much in demand,” says van Hasselt. “Having this in mind, KAMA’s modular solutions offer great flexibility and excellent opportunities for adding more value in post-press processing and finishing. This is the decisive ‘step ahead of the competition’. The potential is still not known enough in the region.” The next step will be the presentation of the unique KAMA ProCut die cutting and stamping machines and the multi- talented ProFold folder-gluers for a wide range of products and digital print finishing at Dscoop Asia in Singapore on 17/18 November 2016.
