Highlights include company’s reduced material LowPro caps, and world’s smallest child resistant tube.
Oberdiessbach, Switzerland – Neopac, a global provider of high-quality packaging and dosing applications for pharma, beauty and oral care, highlighted several recent product introductions at Pharmapack Paris, January 24-25. At the company’s exhibit stand, Neopac showcased a handful of its latest innovations in the tube sector.
One solution constitutes the world’s smallest child-resistant tube: Neopac’s 10mm CR-Tube is the smallest child-resistant tube on the market to date, offering exemplary safety and unparalleled convenience for consumers. Now available in diameters from 10mm and capacities of 0.5-2ml, the tubes are made of certified pharma grade materials and are suitable for liquids and creams. Produced under ISO 8 cleanroom conditions in Neopac facilities in both Europe and the United States, the CR-Tube line offers high-barrier protection for sensitive, toxic or concentrated formulas, and can be decorated via direct printing for compelling aesthetics.
Neopac’s pharma tube dispensing solutions also were on full display. Ideal for Neopac’s line of small-diameter tubes, the Twist’n’Use Soft Long Nozzle provides smooth, targeted application of product in sensitive areas like gums, noses or ears. The tamper evident closure can fit on tubes up to 16mm in diameter with capacities up to 10ml.
Meanwhile, Neopac’s SteriDrop™ tube provides exemplary protection and delivery of preservative-free eyedrops. Filled and sealed on sterile tube filling lines, the SteriDrop™ tube utilizes Neopac’s patented Barrier-Laminate technology, which are widely employed for housing liquids and gels. Combined with an ophthalmic squeeze dispenser from partner Aptar Pharma, the packaging concept now proves highly conducive to protecting preservative-free eyedrops from microbiological contamination before, during and after initial consumer use. SteriDrop™ tubes can contain volumes up to 10ml, which can easily cover a three months’ supply of daily eye treatment.
Also at Pharmapack, Neopac introduced its expanded set of reduced material LowPro Caps. Available in polypropylene or polyethylene constructions with a glossy or matte finish, the diminutive caps allow brands to tailor their packaging to match their design ethos while enhancing sustainability through lightweighting. Several safety features can be incorporated into Neopac’s LowProfile Caps. For example, it can include tamper evident (TE) stickers and sleeves, ensuring product integrity and consumer trust.
“At Neopac, our dedicated team is committed to advancing materials science to continuously provide new and cutting-edge innovations for our valued customers,” said Martina Christiansen, Director Sales Tubes. “Pharmapack was a resounding success and it served as a significant opportunity for our company to present these latest innovations to the global pharmaceutical industry.”
