Packaging technology company Sealpac is adapting to the dairy segment and offers producers, such as Wildberg Käserei and Queijos Santiago, latest applications that combine product protection with efficient production, simplified logistics and an attractive presentation while using fewer consumables.

With its traysealers and thermoformers, Sealpac supports cheese manufacturers with packaging solutions that can distribute and market customers’ products. Sealpac highlights two recent examples from Switzerland and Portugal.

In conjunction with the package, the company has partnered with CIRT (Can I Recycle This), a recycling technology platform, according to the release.

The 'Design Check' tool was developed in response to feedback from users of the guidelines who requested a way to verify if a packaging design or specification adheres to the guidelines when assessing their packaging portfolios and developing new products with partners, suppliers, and customers. The service will be launched publicly on September 19, 2023, and an information webinar will be held on the same day. 

The company says the ACP-722 RRP offers one of the smallest footprints currently available, being up to 50% smaller than equivalent casepacker models.

The single directional flow design produces a ‘lean and compact’ line layout which can also accommodate twin lines, with top speed of 20 cases per minute.

Key to the machine’s small size is the combination of case infeed and alignment, bag sorting and packing as well as case closing and sealing in one single compact unit, removing the need for additional conveyors.
